SFM Consulting LLC is a logical result of Shawn McGlynn's experience in construction and his educational experience in Environmental Studies. Shawn received his Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies from Stockton University in 1983. He then served as as co-founder of Renaissance Restoration Inc., a timber frame construction company, from 1987 to 2001.
Transitioning into building code enforcement and zoning resulted in the eventual creation of SFM Consulting LLC in 2014. In the interim, Shawn worked for a third-party municipal services provider in Bucks and Montgomery County, honing skills in ordinance development and adoption, land use regulations, and expert testimony.
SFM Consulting serves municipalities in the Lehigh Valley and Pocono region, providing building code and zoning enforcement services, as well as land use consultation, ordinance development, and expert testimony. Shawn works closely with elected officials and township solicitors to achieve balanced and unbiased outcomes to municipal problems for the communities he serves.
